Emily Howard, DMD
Dr. Emily Howard was born and raised in Gaffney, South Carolina. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Presbyterian College with a BS in Biochemistry and minor in French. Dr. Howard earned her DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. While in dental school, she was awarded the Outstanding Clinician Award for the highest clinical GPA and the Excellence in Prosthodontics Award for her clinical and academic achievements in prosthodontics. After dental school, Dr. Howard furthered her education by completing a General Practice Residency in Columbia, SC (Prisma Health), where she received specialized training in hospital dentistry, implants, and sedation. With a focus on providing long-lasting care and dental solutions, Dr. Howard and her team seek to help the West Ashley community grow in health and confidence.
Dr. Howard resides in Charleston with her husband and Labrador retriever. Together they love exploring the city and trying new restaurants.
