Al Weatherford, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Al Weatherford was born and raised in South Carolina. After graduating from BYU in 1993, Dr. Weatherford attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1998. He has owned his own practice for 22 years. He is excited to be back in the Lowcountry, where quality dental care will be his primary focus.
Dr. Weatherford speaks fluent Spanish, having served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Dominican Republic from 1986-1988. He has four children: Ellen, Derrick, Lindy, and Eleena, and he is married to Suzanne Smith Weatherford. Dr. Weatherford is also a Major in the United States Army Reserve.
